About Our Kennel

At a Dog’r 2 Kennel in Hector, MN, we provide personalized boarding and doggie daycare in a warm, home-like environment. Dogs spend most of their time inside our living spaces or outside in large, fenced play areas with plenty of room to run and explore. Kenneling is limited to rest times or for specific needs, such as dogs in heat or those requiring quiet time. We offer flexible hours, individualized care, and a calm, safe environment for dogs of all sizes and breeds.

Boarding Pricing

We’re not a typical kennel — in many cases, dogs have the option to stay in our home, where we provide personalized care tailored to their needs. Our flat rate is $30 per day per dog, with no proration or hidden fees.

Doggy Daycare Pricing

Daycare is $20 per day with flexible hours; however, our schedule may change due to our child’s sports events. Please contact us to arrange specific times—thank you for your understanding.

Extras included

No extra fees for, cancellations, weekends, cleaning after accidents, exercise, medication, or baths if dogs get muddy.

Optional “Bergie Chow,” our homemade organic whole food made from rabbit, quinoa, and fresh fruits and veggies, available for a small charge. (Other meat can substituted).

Climate-controlled kennel suites with private dog doors and monitored by surveillance cameras.

Access to multiple large fenced yards and wooded trails for walks and play.
Socialization, cuddles, playtime, TV time, and soothing music for dogs who need calm downtime.

Doggy Daycare Bus Services - NEW

Currently we are doing bus routes to Hutchinson on demand.
Currently, bus is available 3 days per week, days may vary again depending on what’s requested from owners.
We need at least 3 dogs to make the trip.
Bus arrives to Hutchinson at 7 AM, which means individual pick ups are between 7-8 AM.
Bus brings dogs back home to Hutchinson at 5 PM, which means individual drop offs are between 5-6 PM.

We are able to swing through little towns surrounding Hutchinson, or owners can request to meet in Hutchinson at a park or a safe pick up location.

What customers need

Proof of vaccinations: Bordetella, Rabies, and DHPP required.

Monthly broad-spectrum dewormer and or flea/tick preventative proof before arrival.

Your dog’s food and any medications they need during their stay.

Special care instructions or preferences.

Please talk to us about special timing—we’ll do our best to accommodate, but after-hours pickups cannot be guaranteed.
Dogs in heat or intact males are $40 per day.
Extended stays of 30 days or more require a $100 non-refundable deposit.
